Cando Bingham & Garfield Railroad (CBG), previously owned by Savage and called the Savage Bingham & Garfield Railroad (SBG), provides freight service from Midvale Yard in Midvale, Utah from a connection with Union Pacific at Roper Yard in Salt Lake City.
CBG operates 17 miles of railroad servicing various customers including; Frito Lay, Interstate Brick, SME Steel, ATK, BMC West (Wood Products), Quality Steel Corporation, IGI Wax, and Chevron.
The transload facility accommodates numerous customer needs including transloading of crude oil for various destinations over Union Pacific.
