Keeping products moving during COVID

As the situation continues to evolve amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, Cando Rail Services remains vigilant in implementing policy changes and improvements within our company to ensure the safety and well being of our employees and clients. We are proactively monitoring the situation and will continue to take action to keep our employees and customers safe.

Rail service across Canada and North America is a critical component in the continued movement of essential supply chains. For Cando this includes a supply chain that transloads fuel to railcars and trucks to supply diesel for trucking with our partners at Parkland Fuels. A supply chain that supports Dow Inc. whose products go into cleaning and disinfecting applications and are also used in medical equipment and medical supplies that are being used to help fight COVID-19. Cando crews are also helping Class 1 railways maintain critical rail infrastructure so trains carrying necessary products and goods can continue running coast to coast.

Knowing this creates comfort in the hearts of our crews across North America. This is the flag that we are flying through this pandemic. We recognize now, more than ever, the importance of our efforts to provide products not only for our customers but to help support this battle we are all fighting.
